Tweeking Tradition

I like to cut out a new quilt on New Year's Day and that has been my habit for about 20 years. It always fills me with hope and excites me! This year was no exception. I wanted to use our new Doll Babies fabric which arrived the week of Christmas.

I tweeked the tradition by using a pattern that I didn't design. Instead, I used the cutest pattern from Dana Brooks of Lazy Daisy Cottage called Baby Buds. We will kit the quilt for our visit to Road to California which is coming up this month! I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Happy New Year to each and every one of you. I simply can't wait to see what will happen this year!

Happy New Year to you, Barbara. I love your new line - although I'm not surprised! I've got a new quilt in my head for the previous line. Can't wait to cut into it!!!
