Bubblegum Fun Free pattern

We have finished our Bubblegum Fun quilt and here's the proof! You might even be able to see the clips holding the quilt up while we shot the picture. This is a free pattern for you and can be downloaded from Henry Glass fabrics.com.

I wished you could see the quilting on this quilt. In the big yellow spaces around the flowers we have a terrific circular pattern that softens and blends the corners with the rest of the quilt. I will try to get a close-up of the quilting for you to see. The quilt is at Quilter's Haven in Bountiful, Utah right now so I will have to take a little field trip. Might be good for me to leave the house! My sister says I am like the "boy in the bubble" because I prefer to never leave home!

Yes you can!

There seems to be a little confusion as to whether you can buy Bubblegum Basics yardage from us. The answer is yes you can. We always like you to support your local quilt shops but if they are not carrying the line you can email me and we will cut for you.

So very lucky!

You are all so very lucky! The fab-u-lous fabric company I work with, Henry Glass & Co, saw all your comments and volunteered to sponsor 2 prizes. Woo Hooooooooo! So today we are awarding 3 fat quarter stacks (can you even stand it?). You might want to thank the folks at Henry Glass for their generosity. Did I mention that Henry Glass is sponsoring us? Their website is www.henryglassfabrics.com.

I have tell you how much fun I had reading the comments. Some of you were very concerned about my UPS man and the shape he looked to be in. Some of you thought the shape he was in was mighty fine and would only take the fat quarters if the UPS man came with them! He hasn't delivered anything since he hauled Bubblegum Basics down the driveway. When he does, I am going to tell him that you are all looking out for him. He will be thrilled!

So our three (did I mention Henry Glass& Co sponsored us?) winners are Jackie, Evelyn and Dianne M. I will send you an email and you can reply with your shipping address. Congratulations ladies! Hope you all noticed that I am doing my part for the environment and using both sides of my paper when I print things out!

I wished I could give ever single one of you a sampling of Bubblegum Basics. The best I can do is have it shipped to your local quilt shop (mention the collection by name to your shop owner) or to your door (you may order from us) if they don't have the fabric.

I can't wait to see what kind of projects everyone makes with Bubblegum Basics. I just hope you have tons of fun no matter what you make!

Time is up!

We have the closed the drawing. I am cutting up the comments and dropping them in the hat (or bowl, or bucket or box). Winners announced tomorrow!!! I can hardly wait to see who wins!

Up to our ears in Bubblegum!

We are up to our ears in Bubblegum Basics and having tons of fun. Normally, being up to your ears in gum would be a problem but that is not the case this time. Just to let you know, the fabric is due to arrive the end of this week or first of next week. I am so excited!!

My friend Mary made our Perky Peonies table runner in Bubblegum

and here is our Mall Doll quilt. Too much fun and a free download from Henry Glass!!! The little printed hanky squares say things like Hug your Sis, Call your Mom, Kiss your Dad, Oh my Gosh and Laugh Out Loud!
